We ventured on a day trip to Korurion, Cyprus. We traveled during a rough rainstorm, but it left us this rainbow to let us know that all things would be clear for the rest of the day.
After a couple hours of driving, and Linus’ relatively short nap, we saw the archaeological site up ahead.
Kourion Archaeological Site, here we come.
We parked the car entered the visitor center.
At first glance, you could tell much care was taken to ensure the safety of the site and its visitors.
First stop. The amphitheater. It was one of the larger, expansive spaces.
Prof continued to look and take photographs for his research and work, while I just took in the view with Linus.
There was much to see. Bath houses. Roman gladiator houses. Mosaics.
Thank goodness, Linus was in the Ergo. It was rough and rocky, and incredibly windy.
After an hour or so of walking around, we headed back for Nicosia in plenty of time for afternoon pick up for Piano Man.
