TRAVEL DATES: 2017-2018 membership
When we used to live in New Jersey, we thought one of the best ways to go into the NYC more would be to get a museum membership. We chose the American Museum of Natural History since the kids really like all the tactile learning that goes on in those kinds of museums. Plus, if you’ve seen Night at the Museum, then you know it’s a fun space to walk through.
However, after two visits, the kids were pretty much done. The rock and mineral exhibit that the older one wanted to see was delayed until well after our year long membership.
But I must say the Ocean exhibit was pretty magnificent, even if only the little guy who was in first grade at the time “oohed and ahhed” his way throughout the museum.
We ended each visit with a stop to see the big bad dinosaur.
We took friends from out of town here, and they loved it. All in all, it was worth the membership.
