Just a little history…

Very early in our dating life, Prof had gone on a summer trip to study in Italy.  He had the opportunity to travel to Cyprus for a few days, and he wondered if he should go. Back then, I immediately thought of my dad’s mentality on life, “Sure! Why not? When will you ever get a chance to go again?”  That was 2002.

Ten years later, M.B., the amazing grant writer extraordinaire, encouraged Prof to apply for a fellowship to Cyprus.  After sending off the application last fall, who knew it would turn out to be an opportunity for Prof?

So the entire four-member family set off on a three-flight journey, crossing the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, and Aegean Sea to the very tropical and seriously hot island of Cyprus.
