I walk by this building quite often in my neighborhood, but a few days ago I heard a loud jack hammer chipping away at the concrete. I looked up to see a gaping hole in the building.
Now I don’t know how renovations are done in your area, but I do remember that you usually need a permit and add some safety measures to make sure that building is rendered safe and secure during a remodeling. And with no insulation in the walls, I am sure it makes it a very cold night in that apartment.
But hey, at least there are some renovations going on, unlike some other buildings that never get completed or are completely abandoned.
