This isn’t so much of a tutorial but more of a shared craft idea. We had worked on making a paper Christmas tree for the holidays back in December. Piano Man liked it so much that he wanted to continue with the whole craft theme for the rest of our time in Cyprus. He insists on keeping up all the decorations until the day we leave.
So I made a huge red heart, taped it up the wall, and let Piano Man run wild with this Valentine’s décor ideas. He doesn’t know all that much about Valentine’s Day, and people in Cyprus don’t have a Hallmark to make sure that every single person knows about Valentine’s Day. Thus, Valentine’s Day won’t be celebrated too much at school or in our household.
However, if you are in the market to let your kids have fun on this brightly colored holiday, you too can make a huge heart and let your kids decorate it the way they wish.
